Tired of All Those Sticky
Notes
  
Are you sick and tired of all
those sticky notes (e.g. Post-IT) lying around your
computer? You should try
Microsoft Outlook Note Feature. MS Outlook Notes
are the electronic equivalent of paper sticky notes that you
can use to jot down questions, ideas, reminders, and
anything you would write on paper. In addition, you can
save, file, share with others, email, and leave notes open
on your computer screen while you work.

Create a note
1)
On the File
menu, point to
New, and then select
Note.
2)
Type the text of the note.
3) To close the note, click the note icon in the
upper-left corner of the Note window, and then click
Close OR click the x in the upper right corner of
the note.
Note:
You can leave the note open while you work. When you
change the note, the changes are saved
automatically. |

Fastest way to create a Note
The
fastest way to create a note, regardless of where
you are in Outlook is by pressing
CTRL+SHIFT+N. |

Change how a note looks
Change the default color, font, and size for new
notes you create.
1)
In the upper-left corner
of the Note window, click the Note icon
.
2)
Point to Color,
and then click the color you want.

Send a note via email
(Option 1)
1)
Select the note.
2)
Locate the
Action Menu.
3)
Select
forward
and then a new email will open.
4)
Complete the email
and then send. |

Select the note.

Right click the
note.
3)
Select forward and
then a new email will open.
4)
Complete the email
and then send. |

Share my Notes
Select Notes Icon
(at the bottom of the screen).

Once open a
Navigation Pane will appear in the left
corner.
Click Share My
Notes. |
