LESSONS to MOTIVATE Underachieving Math Students - LESSONS to MOTIVATE Underachieving Math Students contains a collection of sites featuring Internet-based math lessons and activities for grades 9-12.
Library in the Sky - Library in the Sky, provided by Northwest Regional Educational Laboratory (NWREL), features lesson plans and other resources for a variety of subjects in grades K-12. There are plans for Elementary School Math, By Grade (K-8), and Middle-High School Math. You can also find plans for math in an alphabetical list of Lesson Plans
Lockheed Martin/UCF Academy for Mathematics and Science - A partnership of educators, business leaders, and community members dedicated to the improvement of mathematics and science teaching and learning in the K-8 schools of Central Florida. Teachers may complete a Master's Degree program through the Academy. Math Archives - K-12 Teaching Materials - Hosted by the Mathematics Archives, this is an extensive list of Internet sites which contain significant collections of materials that can be used in the teaching of mathematics at the K-12 level. Organized into categories: lesson plans, schools, software and other K-12 Internet math sites.
Math Central - For people involved in K-12 math education, Math Central provides a teacher resource room, a bulletin board, a question-and-answer service, and Teacher Talk, an email discussion forum. Teachers are encouraged to send resources and suggestions. Math Central is maintained by faculty and students in mathematics and mathematics education at the University of Regina in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada.
Math Competitions Archive - This archive contains links to the USA Mathematical Olympiad, the International Mathematical Olympiad, and the William Lowell Putnam Mathematics Competition in addition to math competitions held in other nations. Mathematics Education Center - Oklahoma State University - A center whose goal is to serve mathematics educators, particularly as their needs relate to the use of technology in undergraduate mathematics education. Mathematics Resources - Sonoma State U - World Wide Web sites that are valuable resources on mathematics, with an emphasis on math education. Math Jeopardy (4-12) - A game that can be adapted to any subject to keep students actively involved in the learning process - here the game is explained using Math as the subject taught/reinforced. Sample answer sheet supplied.

Math Teacher Link - Math Teacher Link is a collection of classroom lessons and resources for high school math teachers provided by the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Presently, only an online course in geometry featuring Euclid's Elements and online lessons and activities for probability and statistics covering such topics as correlation, linear regression, chi-square, and Buffon's Needle are available. Classroom resources include courses for Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II, Precalculus, Calculus, Probability and Statistics, Discrete Mathematics, Linear Algebra, Computer Science, Collaborative Learning, Graphing Calculators, Graphics Packages, and Miscellaneous Items.
McREL: Lesson Plans and Activities - Lesson plans and activities, assembled by Mid-Continent Regional Educational Laboratory (McREL), contains a collection of lesson plan sites for a variety of subject areas. 
NASA Space Mathematics - Includes examples of problems that should enhance both the mathematical knowledge and skills of students and their appreciation and understanding of aerospace technology and achievements. 
NCTM - The National Council of Teachers of Mathematics is the largest nonprofit professional association of mathematics educators in the world. NCTM offers vision, leadership, and avenues of communication for mathematics educators at the elementary school, middle school, high school, and college and university levels. 
NCCTM- The North Carolina Council of Teachers of Mathematics is one of the nation's largest and most active state mathematics organizations. NCCTM has a strong and continuing commitment to serve teachers at all grade levels, including elementary teachers. Its conferences and activities are rich in activities and ideas for mathematics teaching in all grades, K-16.
New ERIC Math Gopher Menu - New ERIC Gopher Menu for grades K-12 features more than 15 math lesson plans contributed by teachers. Each lesson plan includes an overview, purpose, objectives, activities and resource materials.
Newspaper-In-Education (NIE) Online - Newspaper-In-Education (NIE) Online, sponsored by the Detroit News, contains a collection of lesson plans using the daily newspaper in the classroom for grades 6-12. The site features links to daily lesson plans and an index of weekly plans presenting real-life math problems and situations. 
Online Activities for Standards in School (OASIS) - Online Activities for Standards in School (OASIS), a Colorado initiative, provides a variety of math resources that are matched to math standards. Among the resources are hands-on lessons, group interactions, student discussions, computer-based activities, and indexes of photos. You can find these rated sites by clicking on standards for math, grade level for math, or subject for math. 
ONLINE EDUCATOR - ONLINE EDUCATOR is a monthly magazine for K-12 providing Internet-based lesson plans in a variety of subject areas. Each week, Learners Online publishes a new online lesson that takes learners on a thematic journey across cyberspace. Lessons are tied to current events and help learners extend their knowledge on a wide range of topics. Students become active participants as they construct their own understandings - the true vision of online learning.
PlaneMath - Materials for elementary school students about math and aeronautics, sponsored by InfoUse, in cooperation with NASA. The site is designed to stimulate and motivate students with physical disabilities in grades 4-7 to pursue aeronautics-related careers via the development and delivery of accessible math education materials on the Internet. Recognizing that math curricula for students in these grades is most often built around the manipulation of tools such as pencils, compasses, and rulers, the designers of this site have endeavored to teach the same concepts without relying on the physical acuity of the student.
Problem solving using the sports page (4) - Students will create and solve word problems using box scores from newspaper sports pages.
Problem solving via Sherlock Holmes and puzzles (7-12) - A lesson designed to enhance student problem solving strategies and increase student ability to solve deductive reasoning problems. Aims to bring a sense of fun and accomplishment to math and science class problem solving.
Project ARISE (Applications Reform In Secondary Education) - A national college-prep math program developed for grades 9-11 that emphasizes real-world application settings. Hogan Senior High School, located in Vallejo, CA, is one of 15 national pilot sites, and the only one located in California. This site describes the program at Hogan, provides information for parents, and has links to sites relating to the curriculum. 
Project Center - Project Center from Houghton Mifflin, updated weekly, features a variety of curricular activities from the Kidsphere and Classroom Connect mailing lists involving the Internet . To find math projects, click here.
Project Mathematics (CalTech) - Videotape-and-workbook modules that explore basic topics in high school mathematics in ways that cannot be done at the chalkboard or in a textbook. The tapes use live action, music, special effects, and imaginative computer animation. The goal of the project is to attract young people to mathematics through high-quality instructional modules that show mathematics to be understandable, exciting, and eminently worthwhile.
