Reshaping Mathematics Project - Developed by the Curriculum Research & Development Group of the University of Hawaii, this three-year mathematics curriculum offers a geometric approach to mathematics for middle school students and teachers. Based on research, promoting interaction among students, and matching NCTM Standards, each unit consists of problem sets, in-class lab activities, projects, and small group and whole-class discussions. This site describes the course of study in detail, supporting research, teacher resources and training, and contact information.

The Math Forum - Math Forum is a very comprehensive online math resource, with extensive directories of specific topic-related websites. 
The Shodor Education Foundation - The Shodor Education Foundation, Inc. is a non-profit education and research corporation dedicated to reform and improvement of mathematics and science education by appropriate incorporation of computational and communication technologies. The Galaxy Curriculum is a large collection of resources (software, lesson plans, tutorials, models and more) that allow students and teachers to learn about galaxy formation while using the same type of tools, techniques, and technologies that scientists and engineers use in their work. Shodor is also partners with NCSA on their BRIDGE project.
Three elementary activities: - Flight Path (find the shortest path between two cities), Plane Capacity (how many people can board your plane?), and Runways and Takeoffs (fly a herd of buffalo to the prairies.) Colorado State Standard addressed: Students develop number sense and use numbers and number relationships in problem-solving situations and communicate the reasoning used in solving these problems.
