The Environmental Science program at NC Wesleyan College combines classroom lectures with laboratory hands-on experiences. There is also a required internship which is designed to help students choose a career which suits them. Please also consider joining the Science Club on campus - this is a great way to become involved! You may also want to browse through our campus via the Dr. Arch Sharer walking tour of plants. Our campus walking tour of plants is dedicated to the late Dr. Arch Sharer, who started the arboretum on campus. During your stay in Rocky Mount, you can volunteer at the Children's Museum, work at Abbott Laboratories, or discover the Waste Water Treatment Facility. To find out about these opportunities and others, see the web page for The Town of Rocky Mount If you would like to find out more about other institutions and environmental science programs, as well as workshops, seminars, and student organizations follow the link to the North Carolina Alliance of Environmental Science and Environmental Studies Program or the link to the North Carolina Informational Page on Environmental Science and Environmental Studies at various institutions The following lists
