 By October 23, you need to have read Chapter 1 (PP 6 - 28).

Assignment:  Chapter 1 Handout (NOTE: the hyperlink).  Print the assignment.  It
                          would be to your best interest to do this assignment first.  Once
                          completed, zip and email to me.  This assignment is an empty project,
                          but provides the necessary steps required for creating and setting up
                          a VB project.  Keep this handout to reference until you are
                          familiar with the necessary required steps.
